I was driving home from work one evening and the first line popped into my head out of nowhere. The rest of the song wrote itself after that – all I had to do was write it down. Sometimes the universe just gives you one for free.

Jeff Sanders played the first half of the solo, I played the second half on slide, and Terry Carleton played the drums on a crappy electronic set I have at the studio. He also provided the dirty hoe. Terry gave me some really valuable insights into mixing the tune as well.
